Pioneer Auto express group delivered my car in horrible condition. Somewhere in the transport process, the driver decided to hook my ABS pump under the passenger side hood to stabilize my car. This caused the whole pump and its metal crate to shift onto the engine pulley. When my car was started the day it was delivered, a horrible noise was immediately noticed and a burning smell started coming from the hood. The engine could not even rev up to 2000 RPM before the whole car would shake. The car was completely undriveable, I could not drive it 10 ft before the whole engine would rattle. I stopped the truck driver to tell him what I saw and even pointed it out to him and showed it to him. He calls his boss and then the boss tells me over the phone that they need their money because the driver cannot stop because there are more deliveries he needs to reach tonight, and because it was late in the east coast, I could call the claims department the next day and they would be able to solve the issue. I even get the driver to sign my receipt with the statement that my ABS pump was pulled onto my pulley. Therefore, I call the claims department and I get a suspicious, arrogant person who started immediately accusing that my car could have been damaged prior to shipment. How can the car even be placed on the upper rails when the engine cannot rev past 2000 RPM? I could not even accelerate past 2000 rpm without the car feeling and sounding like it was going to blow up. When the car was initially picked up in CA, the car was driven 1 block to the flat bed tow truck and driven up to flat bed. Try to do that with the ABS pump rubbing up against your engine pulley. My friends even had to help me push my car up the hill to my apartment complex. I even sent him a video and pictures through email. All I wanted was the repair cost and the cost to have my car towed to the auto shop. I even sought 3 auto shops for the lowest quote. So after 3 days of waiting, and somehow the claims manager mysteriously was not in the office the next 3 days, I am told by him over the phone that they cannot reimburse my claim and even if I were to take them to court, my car is “so old it would be difficult to prove that it was in good running condition prior to shipment.” I was never so insulted. This is the a company with the most crooked business morals I have ever encountered in my life. I would never utilize them again and they should be thrown in jail for theft. They took my money and ran, delivering me my car damaged and me to pay for the bill. Their statement was always the same when it comes to engine parts, “we cannot accurately assess engine conditions prior to shipment because we are not mechanics.” Well I took it to a mechanic and he is willing to testify in court with the pictures and video we have that this damage was cause by Pioneer. You cannot tell me with a sincere face that my car would have been driven 1 block to your flat bed tow truck, then up a steep truck rail for placement with the damage you caused. I hope the word gets out what thieves you all are in Pioneer Auto Express Corp.
