I had my 2008 Boxster S LE to transport from So Cal to Orlando. I DREADED making such an important decisions with an ocean full of crooks and slimy miscreants. But thankfully, this site has helped (even if it's not totally immune to gaming). I almost went with Transport Services, but eventually deemed them "too good to be true". Sure enough, I found out their true colors when I told them no, but that's another story. If you're interested, contact me. I finally settled on Phoenix. They came through, but was probably a little disappointing.

PRO's
- Good reviews, which suggested good customer service
- Quick action after I gave them the business
- Reasonable price
- Getting my car 3 days earlier than expected

CON's
Timely communication lacking; even before I gave them the business, it would take a little too long to return email or call back on the phone. But even after the car was picked up, I got more information out of the seller than I did Kathy. I learned from calling the driver myself a couple of times that I'd be getting the car on Monday instead of Thursday. But from Kathy, all I heard was that it might be here by Wednesday. Everyone could use pleasant surprises, but I much prefer NO surprises. After all, I had to get the money ready for the driver.

All in all, I'm not suggesting that I was disappointed - car got here early and in the condition it's supposed to. (Kathy did say she would put my convertible on top, but when it got here, it was one the bottom.) I'm just looking for basic timely communication as much as I was the "extra" service that got Phoenix all those great reviews.

Hi Paul, From the time you contacted me for transport, your vehicle was on an enclosed carrier within 24 hours and you received your vehicle 3 days later which was 3 days earlier than the date the carrier had originally estimated. I contacted your seller 3 times to help make arrangements and get his address for you and returned all of your calls within 2 hours. My email contact was not limited to office hours, as I emailed you in the evening as well. I called you as soon as I knew the carrier had picked up your vehicle, however, you called the seller first. You never reported to me that the carrier breached his agreement with us and failed to top load your convertible. Had I been aware of this, I would have worked to get you a reduced fee. I'm sorry that you were not happy with me despite all of my hard work. Kathy Gant
