Fortunately, the truck driver, Walter, was knowledgeable about Volkswagens. Many times, these vintage vehicles suffer at the hands of inexperienced people who try and force things when all it needs is a bit of coaxing. Walter's truck broke down in Kansas City, about 60 miles south of me and he went the extra mile to have it brought to me while he was having his engine rebuilt. When he's back on the road, he'll be good for another half a million miles and I would trust Phoenix and thier sub contractors with a 3 million dollar Barrett Jackson car. Extremely professional.
