I can honestly say that I was a novice when it came to the auto transporting business. My family and I returned from Europe to Georgia, and while in Europre we had one of our vehicles stored at a relatives house in Texas. I had no idea that personal vehicles can be transported within the continental U.S. My original plan was to catch a flight from Georgia to Texas, and then drive back to Georgia in my car. However, the plane ticket was kind of expensive, and I didn't want to put unnecessary miles on my car. In addition, my wife and I have a young child and twins on the way, and I didn't want to burden her with being alone with the young one while pregnant. Therefore, after throrough research I came across several auto transport agencies and learned of the pros and cons of the industry. I was somewhat indecisive and confused, until I came across Pettit Famliy Auto Transport. Michael, the guy I spoke with was very informative and honest about his company as well at the auto transport industry, and offered the best rates available among his competitors. He even went as far as to offer me an enclosed transport at the rate of open transport; hook, line, and sinker. We discussed the terms and conditions of the transport and went over some minor details, and then typed up an invoice. He gave me the dates and time of the pick-up and delivery, as well as the phone number of the driver, which came in handy as a way to track shipment. Every thing Michael told me regarding the transport was exactly what it was; the pick date and time, the delivery, and the type of transport. Everything happend smoothly without any hick-ups. The driver was also a good guy and made sure my car was very well maintained during transport. Considering that this was my first time having a vehicle transported, I must say that this was a good experience. So good in fact that I would use Michael's services again, and highly recommend those services to anyone considering a vehicle transport. Trust me, this guy will not steer you wrong, you will not be dissapointed;I wasn't. And besides, you'll save time trying to find other transport agencies. Thanks Mike!!!
