I had originally booked the transport of my car through another company with a pickup date of January 2nd, but after a week (and raising my offer $50) it was not being picked up. I then decided to go with Parker Auto Transport. Joanne was very upfront with me, saying that I was much more likely to get it picked up if I was flexible in my pickup date (which I was). I was quoted the same amount as I was willing to pay the other company before I cancelled the pickup. As promised, on the week of the 25th (I placed the order on January 11th) Joanne called saying my car would be picked up on the 28th, and it was. My car arrived 6 days later, exactly as she said it would. My antenna did break off in transport, but since my car is not in the best condition and the radio still works fine, I am not upset.
A word of advice for first timers (as this was my first)...ask what the broker fee is and subtract it from the quote you are given and that is the amount the driver will receive. I suspect my car was not being picked up by the first company because the broker fee was almost $300, leaving only $550 for the driver. Parker's fee was much, much less, making the offer more attractive to potential drivers.
I would definitely use Parker Auto Transport again as it was a painless transaction. Thank you Joanne!
