When using a transport broker you usually have no idea of who winds up with your vehicle. I paid for door to door service. When it came to delivery, the dispatcher called and said they would not drop it at my home. They said the driver was at a nearby commercial establishment about 2 miles from my home. I insisted they bring to my home as contracted. They refused, then they said they would unload the car and drive it to my home if I would drive them back to their truck. I had neither plates nor registration/ title since when I bought it it was a new car from another state. I finally agreed. When they delivered the car to my home it was absolutely filthy. The driver shoved the damage release paperwork and pen at me to sign. He spoke NO English. I refused since there was no was to assess the cars condition. I called the broker who arranged this. He told me to tell them to have it washed before I signed. The driver could not understand me but only repeated $850. The only English he knew. I finally got the dispatcher to send me an assurance that they would cover any additional damage. By the way as I was warned they demanded $100. More than our agreed upon price.
