It started out great but ended in disaster. I contacted Pacific Lines Logistics to pick up my car from California with a destination of West Palm Beach, Florida. They were very prompt in responding and taking my deposit. they wanted a 100 deposit, but when the contract was sent to me, Pacific Lines put $350 as a deposit (I caught the error and corrected). This was the first warning sign. The quoted total cost of the transport was $700.

After this company took the deposit, immediately from my account, they told me that I would pay the final $600 to the carrier driver. However, the next day after taking the $100 from my account, Pacific Lines, took the final payment of $600 before they even picked up my car...second Warning. I did not discover this until I was on the plane to Florida.

Once I arrived in Florida, I found out that this company had not paid the actual carrier, Oneline Transport and the owner and driver said that they are known for this. Long story short the actual carrier said in order for me to get my car, I needed to pay them $800 which was owed to them or I could not get my car - Third and Final WARNING of FRAUD... Oneline and myself could not get in touch with Pacific Lines Logistics since they would no longer answer the phone after calling numerous times. At which time, I called my bank, CHASE, reported the fraud of the company, Chase reimbursed me and ran an investigation on Pacific Lines Logistics.

I ended up paying the actual car carrier $800 and got my other $700 reimbursed by CHASE. Thank God for CHASE bank!. Bottom line...do not use Pacific Line Logistics since they are running a Scam. Try to go through the actual car carrier company and don't use a broker....What a nightmare.
