I contracted with this company to transport my vehicle to Maryland. The company that picked up my car was trying t collect 330.00 from me on the day of pick up when I was told to only pay a deposit of 125.00. On Saturday while traveling down the road during hurricane Irene PJ calls me to collect the 125.00 keep in mind my car was picked up on Thursday and I was under the impression to give the deposit to the drive since PJ never called to see if the car was picked up or anything. Needless to say I had to pay him 125.00 and only pay the transporter 205.00 upon delivery. My car was suppose to arrive Monday, I hadn't heard from PJ or the transporter so I called PJ he calls me back with some BS excuse that they were shut down due to a customer having something in his or her car and that my car will be delivered on Tuesday at 12:00 I finally received a call from the transporter with a very nasty attitude informing me to have 205.00 cash upon delivery they were suppose to be there within two hours that turned into 6 hours and I had to go and meet them to get my car. When we got the car my husband went to the trunk and the back license plate was missing. My husband called the transporter and PJ no one can answer to why my license plate is missing. This company is running a car theft business and taken license plates off of vehicles for those stolen cars. Warning to future customers you will be sorry like I am being cheap will always get you into trouble.

There was some miscommunication with this customer. We informed her that the deposit of $125 was to be taken when the car was picked up and the balance of $330 was to be paid to the driver on delivery by cash or certified check. If the driver asked for cash when he was picking up the car that was wrong, however the customer did not inform of this when it was happening. Instead they gave the driver the deposit without contacting us. This happened because the customer's spouse was the one releasing the car which was not the arrangement. After the vehicle was picked up we called to collect the deposit and was told the deposit was given to the driver. That was not the agreement. Nevertheless, we came up with a solution with the customer and the carrier were the customer would pay the deposit via credit card and pay the driver the difference of $205 on delivery. On our contract all delivery and pickup dates are estimates because of possible delays that can occur. The carrier was a day late to deliver and on the delivery date they had a breakdown. This status was explained to the customer who was inpatient at the moment which is understandable. The driver explained that they would patch up the problem and still deliver the customer's car that day. Finally they met up with the driver after he patched up the problem and was on his way to they're place. The car was dirty and the rear license plate was missing. At truck stops a license plate tag can get stolen. Although this is very rear it does happen. Because this ONE customer's rear license plate got stole, does that make PA TRANPORT a car theft business??? We treated this customer with the utmost respect all the time even when she threatened to kill people and cause bodily harm because her car was a day late due to truck issues. When we place your order we always make it clear that the pickup and delivery dates are NOT guaranteed because trucks do breakdown and there could be other sources that can delay them. The car was picked up and delivered safely although a day late which we do apologize sincerely for.
