I wish I had seen reviews from other sites before I hired this company. DO NOT USE THEM. After another company tried to pull a "bait-n-switch" on me on price I called this company in a panic hoping they were honorable and trustworthy and would help get my Mom's car from Mississippi to Nevada. They gave me a $900 quote. Assured me they would be responsive, honest and helpful throughout the process. Ann is a great "salesman" for sure. I expected a possible increase as they bid it out and agreed to up the price by $75 as they requested at the very last minute. Which means it should have been a $975 bid. The next thing I know I get a last minute message from them (how convenient when you are out of time and have no other options- we were moving my elderly sick Mom,..leaving the car behind was not an option), confirming a rate of $1150, including their $150 upfront fee). When I asked a simple question of how it came to this price Bruce got nasty with me,..said he would be happy to cancel the driver and never answered my question. Said he would have Anne call me to answer my question. I never heard from her. I felt trapped and out of options. Obviously that is what they count on. When the driver, who spoke absolutely no English, showed up the next day he refused to pick up the car as promised at the home, demanded we have it towed to the location of his choice and they (Open Auto Transport and the driver) all lied to us about having a winch (they knew in advance the auto was a antique and non-operational and would have to be pulled onto the truck and pulled off). I desperately tried to reach Bruce and Anne. I sent emails, and left several phone messages. I never heard from either of them again. But they had no problem collecting their fee. They lied to me, they were not responsive, they were no where to be seen when things fell apart on pickup or delivery. When the auto showed up in Nevada we got 15 minutes notice, had to have it dropped at a mall shopping area (refused to take it to the destination- even though he never saw where it would be taken), had to call the local police as the driver was menacing and threatening, refusing to give us a receipt or let us inspect the car and again had to hire a company to get the car off the transporter and towed to its final destination. When it was all said and done this cost me $1400. I feel I was ripped off by this "broker" auto transport company and it's contracted driver. They are scam artists,...and extremely rude, unresponsive and unprofessional on top of that !!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! This whole experience with Open Road Auto Transport and their driver was a nightmare!

This is not my customer. Please remove review. Customer contacted us and then went with another company after lengthy emails back and forth. I have the emails as proof.
