First of all...I don't believe in liars or cheaters and work very hard for my money. I am going to school to eventually be a fire medic and just moved to florida. I needed my truck transported so I went to a website and asked for quotes. I got @ 30. Went with mid-range price and found Official Auto Transport.(8-27-2008) Eugene Black was a real smooth talker. Told me no problem, the truck would be picked up within the next 4 days which would be 9-2-2008. So I was asked for a down pmt of $175 and I signed all the paperwork. My balance was now $950($1125 total). 2nd comes and no call, infact I never recieved a call from them unless it was a return call. The truck wasn't picked up til the 11th and now the price changed from $1,125 to $1,250. I told him I could get it shipped for total of $1,225 and he said his total would be $1,250. (DOESN'T THAT MEAN TOTAL?) Well when the truck got here, not until the 17th, the total due was now $1,250! I already paid $175.00 down. Do the math...that makes $1,425! I had to pay or they would not take MY truck off of the transport. I spoke to a supervisor named Andy and explained my case to him and he said," well we are sorry for the misunderstanding." Don't you really mean, sorry we didn't tell you the new price is $1,425! I will never do business with these people ever again and hope that you don't either. I don't like to talk bad about people because I know it can come back to you but I have to this time. I feel that I got screwed and so does everybody, including the staff, in my EMT class. You shouldn't be able to do business this way. I will also be writing the BBB. Thank You for reading. Steve

p.s. their phones were also disconnected after my truck got picked up from california and I had no way to get a hold of them except e-mail. I got a call 1-2 hours later from Mr. Black apologizing for the incident. Thats all they did the entire time was apologize for things. Don't apologize...DO YOUR JOB HONESTLY!

The customer was made aware of the delays that he would face with his move. Unfortunately, we were unable to pick the vehicle up on the exact day the customer wanted. However, as we diligently worked on his order we were able to find him a driver. Rates may fluctuate depending on the driver that is scheduled for certain routes due to the volume of vehicles along the route. The customer was made aware of possible fluctuations from the very beginning. The customer was made aware of the rate the driver would expect before we gave the driver his information and agreed to the rate. We also explained to the customer that due to phone system upgrades that our lines would be down temporarily, but he was able to reach us via email and cell phones which is well beyond what most companies in the industry will offer. We apologized to the customer for the inconvenience, however the customer was fully aware of all circumstances pertaining to his move.
