Julien had quoted me $955 to ship my car from NJ to AZ. When the 3-day window to pick up the car came I had not received any emails from Julien or Official Auto Transport to confirm they had found someone to pick up the car. I called them literally at least 10 times between the first 2 days of the 3-day pickup window with no answer. This was extremely frustrating since I did not know if anyone was going to be picking up my car and if I should switch to another carrier since I needed the car to be in AZ by the time I flew home. I finally received a call the night before the last day of my 3-day pickup window saying my car would be picked up tomorrow. I was relieved for a second but there were more problems ahead.

When the carrier came to pick up my car they wanted me to sign a bill of lading saying I would owe $900 once they deliver the car. The price Julien had told me was $955, out of which I had already paid $105 as a down payment. This means I should only owe $850 when the carrier delivers my car. I understand that sometimes prices can change, however no one at Official Auto Transport had contacted me about any kind of price change. I called Official Auto Transport immediately and what a surprise, no one picked up. I called 3 more times and even had the car transport carriers call them too and no one ever picked up. All of the calls were around 3:00-3:15 PM on a Wednesday. Their hours of operation are from 9AM-8PM, so we were calling smack in the middle of the business day when someone should have been there to answer the phone. The car carriers agreed to cross out the price of $900 so I could sign the bill of lading and they would call Julien to figure out the price before they delivered it.

After my car had been picked up I called Julien and the general Official Auto Transport number literally at least 30 times over the course of 3 days and no one ever picked up or called me back. I left numerous voice mails and emails because I was trying to sort out the $900 vs $850 pricing issue before my car got delivered. The company that actually picked up my car even called Official Auto Transport multiple times with no answer.

This lack of customer service is absolutely ridiculous. After they get their money from you they simply ignore you and any problems you may have. No one ever contacted me back about the extra $50 I had to pay, even after numerous calls, voice mails and emails. This shows they do not care about their customers whatsoever. I will never use Official Auto Transport Again, and do not recommend them to anyone unless they want a headache and want to spend hours on the phone trying to get a hold of the people that took their money and ran.

*******UPDATE 1/2/14**********

Official Auto Transport contacted this website to remove my review claiming that I was not a customer of theirs. I submitted all of my documentation to this website and got my review reuploaded. This just shows how sleazy of a company Official Auto Transport really is. They don't try to solve their customer's problems, they try to hide them from new customers so they can scam them too! Do not trust Julien. He is a liar!

Since writing this review I have also submitted a claim to the Better Business Bureau documenting this problem.

Upon submitting the claim, I read multiple claims from other customers against Official Auto Transport that all had the same problem that I did. It looks like this isn't the first time they have done this scam to customers where they raise the price without telling them.

They currently have a rating of "F" on BBB. Do not give them your business!
