I needed a Porsche transported from my brother's place in Texas to my home in Southern California. I originally called up one broker on Wednesday and indicated that I would really great if the vehicle be picked up before Monday as my brother, who is currently on vacation, will have to return to work then. The broker indicated that he will do what he can but felt comfortable in getting it scheduled.

After over a day went by and I did not hear from this broker (I realize that 1 day is not very much time) and was concerned that as we get closer to the weekend, I lose the ability to get the car transported. So I called the broker and asked that will the car be picked up before Monday. The broker indicated that he has no way of knowing when he can schedule the pick up. This was not the news I was looking for and did not carry the same optimism as my original conversation with him.

So, I called Numis Auto Transport and spoke with Suzanna D just before noon on Thursday and explained what I would like to have done. Suzanna took my order for the same price as the first broker an in 2.5 hours had a driver ready to pick-up the car the very same afternoon at my brother's home. On top of it, Suzanna indicated that she found a enclosed truck to transport the car and there's no additional charge even though the original quote was for an open truck. Suzanna indicated to expect 4 days for door to door delivery.

That afternoon, I was able to talk to the driver when he showed up at my brothers place. The driver was very courteous and professional and explained when I can expect to have the car delivered to my home on Monday. I indicated that I would need to take a vacation day if it was Monday to receive it so please let me know on Sunday when he expects to arrive. The driver said that he cannot make any promises but he said that he'll do his best to deliver on Sunday so that I do not have miss work. I can expect a phone call from him on Sunday either way.

On Sunday morning, the driver called as promised and indicated that barring any unforeseen problems, he will deliver the vehicle that evening. By 8pm on Sunday evening I had possession of the vehicle in perfect condition. Many thanks to both Suzanna at Numis Auto Transport to arrange everything and to the driver who showed great customer service by delivering the vehicle early.
