Wanted to use this company because their website said they used their own company-owned transporters and did not broker out. What a crock!! Mom moved to Florida and needed her vehicle for her new job. First spoke to Ryan who quoted $100 higher than someone else in his office. Ryan told me that the truck could be picked up by 2/1 and that the driver's name was Harry. Mom used the woman who quoted her $100 less. After she signed the papers and gave them $150 as a deposit, they told her it would be picked up on 2/5 or 2/6 at the latest. I drove the vehicle to work so I would not miss the call and since we are in an industrial park, it was easier for the truck to maneuver. They never showed up that week at all. Called several times and only got the answering machine. Left messages with no return phone call. Called again and e-mailed - finally got an answer from Natalie that their driver has been stuck in snow. Unless the driver was in NY that story was hard to believe as Wisconsin had cold but no snow that would stop trucking. Was then told that the truck would be picked up over the weekend of 2/10 - 2/11. We cancelled all of our plans for the weekend, stayed off the computer, etc so we would not miss a phone call. No one ever called.... Got my brother involved and said if we could get the deposit back, I would drive the vehicle down myself. Finally got a call from the driver who said he would be here on Friday, 2/16. He did show up and when I asked why it took him 2 weeks to get here, he said he only got the paperwork to pick up this vehicle 2 days ago! He also said that North American Brokers everything out. Obviously their website is false and could actually be conceived as
"bait and switch" which we all know is very illegal. The driver, Rick, told me the vehicle would be delivered by Tuesday, 2/20. Vehicle never showed up Tues or Wed. NAAT called to say that the driver was in North Florida and would be delivering the vehicle on Thursday morning 2/22. It is now Friday and the vehicle is still not there. Have heard from the driver who is south of Miami that he will be there tomorrow. I doubt if he ever shows up.
I will never use this company again or even recommend them to anyone - even an arch rival.

North American Auto apologizes for the delays of our carriers. During the winter months, there are more delays because of weather and more frequent mechanical breakdowns. We had two different driver's scheduled on this order. One of them had mechanical problems as the other one was delayed in Chicago for a few days because of snow. This is from the written records from my driver. We also had been speaking with three different people on this order via email and phone. It is our policy to have one main contact as stories can vary from one person to the next. We kept the customer informed and again apologize for the delays.
