New World Auto Transport was supposed to deliver a car to my granddaughter in Fort Mill, SC on Sunday or Monday. May 31-June 1. However, on Saturday night, May 30, around 10 pm the driver called to say he would deliver the car around 10:30 that night. That was not a convenient time, but he said there was no choice, he was going to Florida and if delivery was not accepted then, the car was going to Florida also. We reluctantly agreed, but he actually arrived at midnight, and demanded that my granddaughter meet him ½ mile away from her apartment. She was hesitant to walk alone that late at night, and she said she thought the car was supposed to be delivered to her home, but he said she had no choice. When she continued to complain he told her to shut up. I spent three days on the phone with both New World’s staff and the driver trying to straighten out communication between them concerning payment. I paid in full before the car was picked up so that no payment would be required when the car was dropped off. There was no ambiguity about that in New World’s mind but they kept failing to communicate that information to the driver. I asked different staff members at New World several times over several days to convey that information to the driver. But the night the car was delivered the driver was still insisting he was supposed to collect payment. The scheduled pick-up of the car, in Connecticut, was also delayed three times, but that seems less relevant than the problems that arose with the delivery. Start to finish it was a most unpleasant experience and I hope it will deter others from making the same mistake..

In response to the review that our client submitted: Once I was notified of the issue, I immediately reached out to our customers to discuss the situation and let them know that I was taking action with my individual departments to define where the communication breakdown was. The car was delivered a little earlier than expected and in perfect condition. The problem was the driver was delivering at night on a weekend. The young lady felt uncomfortable with a night delivery. We always prefer daytime deliveries for the safety and convenience of our clients. Sometimes is it necessary for them to deliver at night to stay on schedule. We are apologetic that this was inconvenient for our client. We are also working to resolve all the issues that our client was unhappy with. Our customers' satisfaction is of our greatest importance here at New World Auto Transport. We are taking actions for the resolution and to make sure that we continue delivering the highest quality of transportation and logistics to our customers.
