Customer Service and communication are the problem

We have used New World Auto Transport since November 2013 a total of 23 times. We do not use car haulers on a regular basis- however we do have the need for them at times throughout the year. We have had satisfactory service in the past, and has pulled us out of a jam at one point. However, over the last 6 months, they failed on 3 of the 5 moves they were contracted on. They have gave us a number of reasons for the failure of service. While it has put us in some tight situations with our customers, our main concern is the lack of communication we have received when there has been an issue. There was no communication on the dispatcher’s part, that lack of communication is inexcusable for our business.

We have had a number of conversations with the owner of New World Auto, who has assured us he is concerned over the failure on these moves. He agreed with our concerns and issues, and has told us he will come up with a solution. They have assured us they were aware of the problems and have taken immediate steps to make sure these remain isolated incidents. Both companies agree mistakes can and will happen in this business, how those mistakes are communicated has to be the key.

We are satisfied with the conversations and explanations Steve and New World Auto has given us, we will continue to give them opportunities to do business together as long as these things do not continue to happen.
We are hopeful these solutions taking place.
