The service involved moving my car, a 2006 Honda Civic from Texas to California. The sales rep of New Way Moving, Rachel, among other things agreed to the following: 1) I could transport some additional household goods inside the car as long as the windows were clear 2) the truck driver would call me at the beginning of the week (10/25) to inform of the day and time of the pickup. Neither of the promises were carried out. When the driver finally called on Thursday 10/28 around 3 pm he wanted to pick up the car that evening or the next day early Friday morning at the latest, which was less then a 24-hour notice. Also, the driver did not want to transport ANY additional goods inside the car, in clear violation of the agreement. When I called back with another representative of New Way Moving and asked them to resolve the matter, they told me I they couldn't do anything about it and that it wasn't their problem. In addition to not delivering what was agreed upon, they were extremely rude in their communications. They couldn't guarantee another transport before Sunday 10/31 when I would fly out to California myself. I could not trust them to find me another driver and ended up paying another broker to find me a driver in the 2 days that I had left before I flew out.
