JUST BAD SERVICE I am not normally the person who writes review PERIOD. But, this was one of the most frustrating, nerve-racking, unprofessional experiences. Moving is stressful enough without being jacked around by a middle man agency. NEW WAY PULLED THE BAIT AND SWITCH LIKE REAL PROS! We were getting quotes right around the same amount $1100. New Way quoted us at $850. Yes the rate seemed lower but we held out for a couple of weeks because we were told the rates tended to lower after the first of the month. Granted we read the reviews we hoped we would only have to deal with the delayed delivery instead of the money hike. We were wrong! They asked for a deposit of $150 and a signed quote and promised to have a truck to assigned that weekend. Mind you this amount was deducted from the original $850 so we were left with $700 paid to the driver on delivery. They called 2 days later saying they were still looking for a driver. This kind of thing went on for about 2 weeks. no worries because we expected a delay... but the customer service people were rude, nonchalant and honestly seemed not to care once they got the deposit (turns out was their broker fee) ... Finally they called with an estimate that was $300 higher than the estimate and DID NOT include the already paid deposit.. Total to be paid $1150. This is the same estimate we received originally from other moving services. I ask why and she tell me the rate was based on their last shipment to the area we live. And that it was a quote and not guaranteed. Understandably a quote fluxuate but they low balled knowing they were much higher. The gas prices have stayed relatively the same for the past few months so I do not understand the logic and honestly I think they don't understand their blatant LIE. If they had quoted us even closer we would have probably excepted but they chose to be deceitful and bait us with an extremely low price. We moved across country to our budget time to move the car was getting tighter. We had to finagle with Gizzelle (sales person) and numerous other ladies who (SOMETIMES) answered when we called. Eventually we took an estimate still $200 higher than we originally were quoted and just received our car yesterday nearly a month later. If we had known from the beginning we would have gone with a service with legitimate good service and wanted to help us as well as help themselves. Just a really BAD experience. I know they will come on and try to deny or type from unprofessional reply like I have seen on other comments but this is LEGIT... BEWARE! You will not be the exception. Here is a note. Never trust a company (NEW WAY) that says they do not have the software to reply to an email. Yes the do not have the capability to reply to questions per their customer service reps.
