I am satisfied with the safe delivery, but not with the overall process

When I wanted to move my vehicle and posted online for a quotation, I got tons of them but I chose NewWay because of a referral. The quotation was competitive and I am happy that the vehicle was delivered safe and without any damage. The initial quote was jacked up by USD 125 if I needed a early pickup and was advised that if this option was not chosen, there is no guarantee of pickup within the defined window. The vehicle delivery took two days longer than indicated over phone. I do understand that journey through northern states would take longer but what worried me was there was no intimation that it was getting delayed and I had to go through a long process on finding out where my vehicle actually was. The vehicle was picked up by another transporter, wish this information was made available by NewWay that this particular Truck company was designated for the pickup. And also I wish there was an email or telephonic intimation regarding tracking my vehicle as the Transporter (Truck company) was not answering my calls and I was worried if I had given the vehicle to the right company or not! This is something I believe is easy to fix my NewWay.

When I actually did report back to NewWay to check the status, they did a pretty decent job on tracking the driver and letting me know the time of delivery, which was met exactly!
