I can't remember how I found out about this company. But Sean Alford called me repeatedly, left emails, warning me that two things could happen if I didn't sign a contract and put a deposit down ASAP - prices would go up and their schedule would fill up.
He kept pressing me for a credit card number. That made me a little nervous so I insisted I pay by check ($250) deposit.
Wellllll now I'm ready to move my car from Seattle to Port Jefferson, NY. At first I just called the toll free number - got put on hold for so long that I hung up. Then, I remembered I had Sean's extension from an earlier email. Called him, put me on hold, said he would call back - that was three days ago.
I've sent two emails - left a message - no Sean.
Then I came across this site - now I KNOW I'm never going to get my car picked up OR delivered so I sent Sean an email today (for what it's worth) to cancel my order. I'll lose my deposit, but at least I'll get my car moved.
I'm going with Cascade Vehicle Shipping instead. And get this, their quote was only $1100 (compared to $1250) AND according to their reviews, I'll actually get my car moved.
