My truck was never picked up

Long, stressful story short..... My husband was due to deploy with the U.S.A.F on March 3rd and myself and my daughter were having to move to FL March 5th. We explained our situation to Nationwide Auto Transport and were told that our truck would be picked up March 4th. We were also told, at booking, that we would be contacted by our driver two weeks in advance. Two weeks came around and we had not heard anything. So I decided to call them. After numerous attempts with all of the mail boxes being full, I finally got a hold of Will. At this point I was told that they do not contact people two weeks in advance and that we would get a call 24 hours in advance. Well, that 24 hour mark came around and I had still not heard from anyone. So once again I call them. No lie, it took me calling them 16 times before I got threw to someone. I finally asked for a supervisor. I was directed to Christopher. He assured me that my driver would be contacting me and if not, he would find me another driver. I was never contacted by the original driver (I honestly dont think that there was one). So Christopher said he found another driver, but that the driver was 2 hours outside of my city. After calling Christopher numerous times the day prior to my pick up and the day of. My last conversation with him was him telling me that he was waiting for the driver to contact him so that he could get the drivers cell number to give to me. He told me to call back in 20 minutes, this was at 3:10p.m. I called back, back to back calls, trying to get a hold of Christopher. No one answered and before I knew it it was 4:00p.m and they were closed.

So the next morning I was due to leave for FL. I called Nationwide and spoke once again to Will. I explained to Will my situation and how my truck was still sitting in my drive way. I also said that I wanted my deposit of $360 back. I will be honest, I was not very nice. I was and still am very upset. Will ended our conversation by suggesting that I not call back and that they would be charging me a $150 cancellation fee and then he hung up. It is now past the 24 hour mark at which I was told I would have my deposit back and I still do not show it in my account.

Under no circumstance should anyone use this company. I would not even recomend this company to my worst enemy. They are very dishonest and have no right to be in business. My next step is to contact the BBB and the courts. I can only hope that there are enough negative review and that other people do not have to experience what I have.
