My car was damaged!

When my car went onto the carrier in Portland, it was one single color - all body panels! When it was delivered in Minneapolis, the car was off loaded and backed into a parking spot near trees, in the shade. The car was dirty (as I expected, no big deal), but when I visually inspected the car, I was looking for scratches and dents, and was not expecting what I discovered about a half hour later.

Because of the dust on the car, I did not immediately notice what I noticed when I returned to my apartment; my car's bumper and trunk lid spoiler no longer matched the rest of my vehicle. It was obvious that they either repainted them, or replaced them altogether. Why? I don't know, they disavow any knowledge of any incident; apparently the bumper and spoiler changed themselves. Also, there were glue drips under the spoiler down the back of the trunk lid.

When the car was loaded, there were two obvious scuffs on my rear bumper that were noted on the Bill of Lading; those scuffs are now gone, where did they go?!? They magically disappeared!

I contacted the broker of the transaction, AA-ALL States Auto Transport, and as I expected, the whole issue has been dragged out for weeks, and to this day is still not resolved.

I talked to the owner of NAO Auto, Tim Oberemok, and after spending an entire hour going back and forth with him on the phone, he still won't admit to any wrong doing, or any knowledge of any incident involving my vehicle. He claims that his drivers say "nothing happened", and that my before/after pictures mean nothing to him because anyone can manipulate photos on PhotoShop, but it's obvious to me that something did happen.

But as I expected, he denies everything, and refuses to work with me; daring me to take him to court. He also continually side-steps the issue of the "magically disappearing scuff marks" that were on my bumper before it was shipped.

I would never use NAO Auto again, and I would strongly advise that you not use NAO Auto either. I'm sure they've delivered many cars successfully in their history, but if something does happen, it's obvious that they will try to cover it up, hoping that you won't notice, and I don't think that's a chance you want to take with the value of your car.

My car's value has been depreciated because of what Mr. Oberemok's company has done, and since they won't admit to any wrong-doing or make it right, now it's personal. Tim Oberemok and his drivers are not telling the truth; he knows it, I know it, and now he owes me a new paint job.
