Spoke with Aaron initially, obviously a true salesman, who promised me that I would not receive the typical treatment of not showing/price changes etc. Contract signed (Wednesday) for move from NY to CA for $1350--called on Friday, said they had a driver, driver called me and said he'd be there that evening between 5 and 6. Never showed, never called back--his number disconnected each time I dialed it. Called the company on Monday morning,they said he had mechanical problems. They called later that day and tried to up the contract price by $200, I refused, I was biding my time until I could cancel per the contract, which was 5 business days. I made multiple phone calls (Eric Franco was my Agent) and got no return calls, no communication via email either. I found Golden Key Express, in the meantime and they ARE THE SHIPPERS not brokers. I would Never recommend Move Wheels, actually the opposite and will give them horrible reviews on all social media. The process of shipping a car is daunting and they make it worse. Low (it was actually mid range to all the quotes I received) quotes and then screw you around--no conscience, couldn't give a hoot about my time and needs. I understand they get a percentage of the move in addition to the deposit-isn't a percentage of $1350 better than a percentage of Zero$ ?Just smart business sense there but these guys and gals are obviously not the sharpest tools in the shed and probably aren't even in the shed!!! NEVER USE THEM!
