Poor Service

"Mr. Snowjob" Andy of Move on Time was a snowman from the get go.

Telling me he could have my little car (MGB) picked up & shipped to me, to arrive within two weeks. He said, as it was small and wouldn't take up much room on a carrier that he would be able to have this done in no time. Well, after a month of phone calls to Andy, and he telling me he couldn't find a carrier to pick her up, he finally calls to say he has one.

BFT Haulers----well, it only got worse....They schedule a pick up date with the person that I purchased the car from. I get an e-mail from him, they never came to get the car! I call them, finally after 3 days I get someone to return my call - because yes - they are never in the office to take your call!!! Their truck "BROKE DOWN", didn't pick my car up for almost another week and a half...Then no car!!! for almost another week!!!

We called BFT NO RESPONSE, we called Andy and got the old (Well it takes time to drive). BFT finally called me back and told me that the driver had to make his runs at night as he was over the weight limit!!!!!!! NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. Finally after my telling both that I was ready for legal action I was told my car would arrive over the weekend... Well...1:00 AM on a I belive it was a tuesday in the pouring rain we finally got our car.

I did e-mail Andy and told him basically that the service he as well as BFT provided was unexceptable and that I felt some type of re-embersment was due. Well ya' know where that got me don't ya'. So that's why I'm here writing this review. Maybe it will keep someone else from suffering the anxity and stress that we experinced in dealing with Andy and company. BEST OF LUCK to you.

In a perfect world everything is perfect. During the month of May over 12000 vehicles tried to move on a daily basis and on many occasions it took an abnormal amount of time to get anything picked-up. BFT has moved many cars for MOT without any problems. Unfortunately, breakdowns occur and this creates problems that cannot be resolved rapidly. It is with deep regret that this client faced the problems she discribed.
