I placed an order and then signed a contract to have my vehicle transported from Chicago to San Diego. The car was scheduled to be picked up 3/25/13. The pick-up time was on schedule. However, while my car was in transit, I just so happened to check my OnStar mobile app dashboard reading to my dismay to find that my car had been driven about 170 miles by Tuesday evening. I immediately contacted OnStar to verify the information and they did confirmed that the dashboard reading was accurate. I proceeded to contact Move Auto Transport to express my concerns and they assured me that it was highly unlikely that my car was being driven on the open road due to insurance liability in case of an accident but they said they would contact the driver anyway to make sure everything was in order.

My vehicle was delivered on 3/30 and my wife took a picture of the odometer and it did read 3202 which was 219 miles more than it read at the time of pickup(2983). This TOTALLY defeated the purpose of the service Move Auto Transport promised to provide. When I contacted them about the matter, they stated that they needed evidence to prove the difference which I provided since then all they've done is tried to deflect responsibility to the subcontractor in which I had no prior knowledge of their track record.

Move Auto is JUST the broker of the deal. Make sure you know WHO the contractor is that will be transporting your car because the broker WILL and DOES walk away from the deal once it's signed sealed and delivered.
