I spoke to Laura early in May. She explained that the carriers wouldn't call until closer to the date. With getting everything else ready for the move I started to panic since the first available date had passed and I hadn't heard anything. Laura later called and told me that the bid was triple posted. She said nothing would happen as long as it was triple posted and I needed to contact the companies and have two of them taken down. One of the guys I talked to assured me he could get it transported. Laura said he wasn't being honest and offered to take hers down so that he wouldn't have an excuse for not getting a transport. After the designated time coming and going and no word from him I called and emailed him and told him to take the bid down. Laura got on the phone and had a transport for me in no time. The cost first quoted was $1350 and I paid $1650 in the end. They picked it up in Atlanta on Thurs. around 1 p.m. and had it in Dupont, WA at 4 a.m. Sun morning. That was quicker than I had expected considering I only got to Dupont late Sat. night.
