This was my first experience utilizing an auto transport company. After reading all the warnings online about unscrupulous brokers, transport disasters, and insurance nightmares dealing with auto shippers when there was damage to a vehicle, I was quite apprehensive about shipping my college student's car. I called several auto transport brokers to obtain quotes for transporting my daughter's car from NH to Texas. I was fortunate to have finally reached Alice Perry at Motor Movers who was exceptionally kind and patient, and who took the time to educate me about the auto transport process. She explained how she determined what she felt was a reasonable price to offer auto shippers, and one that was likely to make them agreeable to pick up and prioritize the transport of my daughter's car. I had done a fair amount of research at that point and was not caught off guard when I was sent some very low offers from brokers. Other brokers I spoke to, or received quotes from, behaved like used car salesmen and stated that the car would never be picked up unless I paid a considerably higher amount. Thankfully Alice Perry had informed me of the going range in cents per mile that auto shippers were currently accepting. Her quote was midrange and reasonable. Within 24 hours of agreeing to work with Motor Movers, Alice called me back with an offer from an auto shipper that could pick up my daughter's car within a couple of days. She even agreed to accept $50 less than her own agreed upon fee, when the shipper wanted more to ship my car. I was nervous when contacted by the driver of the auto transport vehicle, when there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, but he was professional and polite at pick up, and immediately answered his cell phone when I called to check on the progress of the transport. I'm pleased to say that my daughter's car arrived safely without a scratch, within the time range promised, and for not a penny more than quoted. I am happy to have found Alice Perry and will definitely call Motor Movers for future auto transport needs.
