Driver almost Dumped My Car off the Carrier

So I went with Montway Auto Transport due to all the positive reviews. The prices was a little higher but the pick up date worked out great for me along with delivery. That ends my positive experience. After scheduling to have my vehicle picked up with Montway, they basically stopped assisting until I called and demanded they contact the dealership and provide the dealership all the shipping contact and other information need. When the transport (vetted and subbed through Montway) arrived (Get R Done Trucking) my vehicle was on the end of the trailer on the extension as Montway told the driver it was a different vehicle that would actually fit on the drivers trailer, this was not the case. When the driver pulled up, he had to move the cars forward and he ended up bumping the 90s style Camaro Z28 in the front with the newly titled White Cadillac. He then moved the third car forward which he did not hit the Cadillac this time, and then attempted to move my car. This is where the fun began as he almost allowed my car (Brand new less than 120 miles on it) to fall off the back of the trailer and I had to yell and stop him from what he was doing. Next he brought out some ramps to bring the car off the trailer but was not able to do this and had to use a winch to pull my car forward to put these extensions on the back of the trailer. To summarize: Montway did not give the driver the proper dimensions of the vehicle. Montway did not vet the driver knew how to manage the car he was transporting. Montway did not call the dealership until I requested they ensure the dealership had all the information for pick up of the vehicle.

Hello Rich, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention as it's important that we work with the most professional carriers in the industry. We apologize for the inconvenience that has occurred. At the time of booking, we were provided with the vehicle information by you. This exact information is provided to the carrier as part of the dispatch process. This document outlines all specifics of the vehicle. And our team discusses the specifics of the vehicles to ensure they are able to safely transport said vehicles. So at no time was the carrier not aware of the vehicle they would be transporting. This has been escalated to our compliance team and we can confirm this carrier is no longer part of our network. As for the shipment confirmation. When booking an order with Montway and selecting the first available shipment date, the customer is confirming with Montway that the vehicle will be ready for pick-up on that date and after. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the vehicle is ready for pick-up and to provide that information to Montway. That includes anything required by the locations in the shipment. https://www.montway.com/terms-and-conditions Thank you again for your feedback.
