Good Trucker Bad Payment Setup

I used Montway recently to transport my trade-in vehicle from CO to WA and bring my new vehicle from WA to CO. I think they are middlemen and use other companies for actual transportation. The truck driver assigned to me was awesome. His name is Paul and he works for a different company. He was very professional and polite. He was on time and always kept me informed via phone and text. So my experience with the actual transportation was very very positive. Thanks, Paul! Now the experience with the folks providing quotes and setting up pyments was not that positive. They are polite but not very helpful. They charged my credit card for an initial payment of ~$1300 but then when it was time for the driver to deliver my car, they said I had to pay $1900 cash. Now, thats not an issue usually but due to banks being closed for the new year plus the Sunday, it became an issue. I did not know that I needed to pay in cash. They said I set it up that way - which I did not. Anyway I offered to wire transfer funds to their account or they could just charge my credit card as I thought they would but they insisted that I must pay cash. ATM cash limits are usually $500/day. So, I had to jump through some unnecessary hoops to pay the poor driver who did his job well. But the folks in the office while polite were totally unhelpful. If you use this company make sure you understand the payment methods, so if you need to withdraw cash from your bank, you can do that in time.
