This was my first time using an auto transport service. Montway proved to be very easy and courteous. They came up with a reliable driver who treated my new car with kit gloves, transporting the vehicle on an open bed all the way up the Eastern seaboard. It arrived in mint condition. This is a quirky industry model - all these brokers vying for your business, promising they’ll find you a safe trucker. A lot of companies spend their time telling horror stories about their competitors, saying you can’t trust their free-lance drivers, be careful of scammers so avoid the cheap rates, you better buy extra ‘gap’ insurance because your car will arrive damaged and you’ll be stuck in court trying to recoup your loss. Picking one of these companies to handle my car was filling me with trepidation. Montway came highly rated by the BBB and customer reviews. They did not resort to high pressure scare tactics. Very professional - they texted me updates, picked up and delivered on time. The payment was the exact price initially quoted, which, btw, it turns out it WAS the cheapest rate of any of other competitors. Fantastic job, all the way around. The trucker himself called with arrival time updates, very professional and kindly. My only critique: when unloading a client’s car from his truck, he should have worn a mask. For his health and everyone else’s, I hope he masks-up in the future, until this virus is behind us. He’s a good driver and we’d like to see him stay healthy. I won’t deduct a point for that, but mask-up friends and we all get through this!!

Thank you for the excellent review, Patrick. A lot of good tips here. We will say that service is very important to us and we are very much aware of the tactics used by our competitors. We would rather provide great service and industry education rather than resorting unprofessional tactics. As we are a very niche and very misunderstood logistical service.
