One of your team members called me while I was being examined in the hospital saying there was a carrier ready to pick up the Hyundai going to St Louis, BUT it would now cost another $100. I said no. My wife then came to my hospital room & I told her about the Montway call. She said it was not fair to her sister & brother-in-law to make them wait for another carrier. So we called back & arranged for the car to be picked up later that same day and charged another $100 to our credit card. I just felt like we were backed into a corner. When I was a manager for a large corporation, if our quote to the customer was to low, we ate the delta. To help with customer satisfaction, I suggest Montway adopt the same policy. The car did get delivered 4 days later so my son is happy.

Joseph, we are glad to hear that your shipment went quickly. We did want to address the matter of the carrier option we presented. At the time while working with our network of carriers to get your order assigned, a carrier option presented itself that was much higher than our quote. We here at Montway do present these options to you, our customer, to see if this may work for you. By no means are you forced to accept this option as we continue to work with our carriers to find one at your quoted cost. It is also important to mention that prior to calling you for the approval, we work out all other options with our carriers to lower the rate they are asking. The decision to call you for approval is never made quickly, or thoughtlessly.
