Paid over $500 extra to make sure that auto was picked up on a specific date. Called day before pick-up to find what time this would happen. Was told 6:00pm on the date specified. Received call on that date explaining delay as a result from another pickup. Pick-up would now be at 8:30pm. Hour later received call that it would be dark and pickup would happen next day. Told driver unacceptable pickup had to be that day, was then told pick up would be 11:00pm. A few hours later next call was truck broke down and would not be able to arrive on appointed day. Finally reached someone at Montway. They were of no help. Told them that guaranteed pickup was not to happen, and offered compensation outlined below.. Car was to be picked up next morning. This delay created problems with travel plans, the reason guaranteed pickup was so important. For the delay I received approximately 1/2 of the additional amount paid for guaranteed pickup. Why was the total additional amount not refunded for a service I did not receive. A very unpleasant and costly experience which will never be repeated.
