This was the worst experience. Do not use! Set a price and the the driver of the company they sub contracted with broke down. The sub company charged them another $200 to get another truck to pick it up. 1st lie: Then I get a call saying because of modifications they have to charge me $200 more. So I had to pay it. Then it gets to destination and they don’t have the info on how to deliver it. I tried giving it to both Montway and the Sub contractor but they both stated they got it. So they arrive I’m on a plane and they can’t deliver because don’t have the info. 2nd lie: get a call saying it’s another $300 for storage and redeliver but they would pay $100 of it. Spoke with sub contractor who was going to charge $100 to deliver. So after I got all the lies out and paid another $100 they decided to reimburse me a little back. Get my vehicle off the ship from another transport company with cracked windshield. Just put a brand new windshield in right before pick up. The receiving shipper took pics of the windshield cracked. Montway refused to pay and refused to get involved. Said it’s between me and the sub company. The money they lied and took for me would have covered it. They are scam artists who hold your vehicle hostage for more money. Stay away!!!

Thank you for providing your feedback. We apologize for the inconveniences. Please note that at the time of booking, we were informed that there were modifications to the vehicle. We advised that this may affect pricing as the quote we give is for the unmodified factory version of the vehicle. We requested pictures and exact measurements to verify. The first carrier we dispatched, verified that the mods would not be a problem. Unfortunately, they did have a breakdown and were unable to transport the vehicle. We immediately found a new carrier, but they requested the additional fees due to the modifications as the vehicle would take up more room than the vehicle normally does. We presented this as an option. It is up to the customer to accept any option and if you were to decline we would continue to work on your order at your booked rate. We were not provided the necessary information to deliver the vehicle to the port until after the vehicle was at the port. The carrier placed the vehicle in their storage free of charge but did ask for a redelivery fee due to this. We covered the redelivery fee due to the inconveniences. Our claims team has been in contact with you in regards to the reported issue. Unfortunately, as issues were reported more than a month after delivery, this exceeds our 15-day mediation process requirement. We have provided other possible options for you to pursue. If you have any questions, we ask that you reply back to our email.
