Horrible Company

My experience with this company has been horrendous. I purchased a car in WI and was having it shipped MD. It started with Montway asking me to press the dealership to move up the pick up date so they could combine shipping. After i pressed the dealership to ensure the car was ready they never showed. On top of that i was never communicated with at all until i received an email at 5:30pm on the day it was supposed to be picked up telling me they couldn't get the vehicle until the following day. Not 1 phone call or anything, yes just an email at 5:30pm on pick up day. For someone that works in NJ and needed to travel to MD to ensure i was home to pick up the car I advised them that since they delayed pick up i needed to know the exact date it would be delivered (as i assumed it would be pushed as well) so i could take off work and travel back to MD. They guaranteed it would be delivered the following day, so i took off. Now delivery day.....I had to call the driver at 5:30pm for him to tell me he couldn't deliver the car that day and needed to push an additional day. Yes again no phone call or anything, not even an email this time. On top of that the reason he couldnt deliver was because he had to take a mandatory stop due to miles. Now if they knew that was the case why on the he** did they even guarantee delivery for the following day. So now i wont be home for the delivery of my car and i will need a family member to take a day off work to ensure they can be at my house for delivery. These reviews for this company must be paid for i have no idea how they are rated so high, what a joke. I will NEVER use this company again and you best believe everyone i know in the car community will hear about my experience. MONTWAY IS THE WORST BEWARE

We understand it is important to keep in contact with you when such delays happen and we will make sure to address your concerns with the carrier. Due to safety concerns and industry regulations, they are only able to drive a certain amount of hours in a day. All of our reviews both good and bad have been left by the many customers we have serviced throughout the years.
