I originally booked my car to be moved 1/24 for mid-February. The first lie that was told was that it was $0 down (do not be fooled by their website). My card got charged $229 in January. I was told by the first agent I spoke with that I could load up my car to the max, as long as the items were in bags and boxes. I looked on the website, this is not true. You are limited to one large item under 100 pounds. I am a single mom who was being considered for a new job that would allow me to move closer to family so I called and explained that I was not for sure when/if I would need their services. I was then told by the agent I would get my money back as long as I cancel within 48 hours of my trip as that is when they usually book the drivers.

So I call back 2/13 explain that my dates have changed and to push it back to the 26th or 27th. The agent, Bobby, tells me they have to give a window but he would put a note in my account that I need the car up until those dates as I am a single mom with a baby (she needs to have her car seat base which is in my car for us to go anywhere). An hour after I get off the phone with him, I receive a call they've booked my car to be picked up EIGHT DAYS before I requested!! So I call back and explain at this point I am so frustrated they just need to cancel the whole order.

What do you know, they refuse to refund my money. I explain all the lies I was told throughout the process and all I received was attitude and lack of professionalism. I understand the concept of cancellation policies, but when a company cannot provide the services their agents promise to customers (the ability to fill up the car + being able to move the car on the exact day to prevent a baby not being able to go anywhere because she won't have her car seat). This is unacceptable. Anyone who has any knowledge of legal contracts knows intentional misrepresentation immediately voids a contract.

DO NOT give this company your credit card number They will charge you even though they falsely advertise 0 Down and they will NOT refund your money even if you cancel within the time frame the employee provide you in the beginning.

This company is a prime example of a CROOKED business. Do you know any other company that would refuse to give someone who's raising a baby alone and could use that $200 to feed her baby that money. I sure don't

If you need to move your car cross country, please use anyone but Montway Auto Transport. Save yourself the headache
