Late pickup of my BMW

I went with Montway being a well know company and with lot of good reviews.
I’ve got a great price to ship from Miami to Seattle in a bit process through UShip and I think that has something to do with the vary late pickup. I believe Montway underbid on a price and had trouble to find a trucker to take a job.
It took 2 weeks to pick up a car, even when I was promised couple of days in a bid. To give a credit, I received often an updates that driver was not assigned and reps are working on it. When calling a company, I received similar assurance and explanation as well and it seems everyone being apologetic about it and assured me it should be “soon”.
Anyway, finally I got the email that driver was assigned and car would be picked up on Mon 10/24. For some reason, contact person at the dealership didn’t receive a call about the pickup and car was not ready. Well, in direct text with a driver I was assured car will be pickup tomorrow morning since he had few others to collect- which he did. Estimated delivery at SEA was 11/2.
However, it seems that trucking company and Montway didn’t think so and changed my delivery to 11/8, stating different driver picked the car.
Imagine my surprise when yesterday I received a phone call about the delivery in couple of hours!
Due to the size of the transport, driver couldn’t enter our street so offload happened on a busy main street in Seattle. It all worked well and no damage on the car, however it was quite dirty, specially front end. Perhaps nylon covers would help but not sure if that is done often.
I’ve seen in on transports for a new cars to the dealer, though.

All in all, service is 3 star and that is generous manly due to very late pickup. Apart from this, I’m quite happy with Montway’s service…
