For my first classic car purchase, I went online to look up the Top Rated Carriers who would be able to help me and Montway was on the list. After reading their customer feedback and asking the dealership I purchased from about them, my mind was made up. The only hiccup I had was at the very beginning when I paid for my order online with my credit card. Apparently orders of a certain dollar amount and above cannot be accepted thru a credit card payment and must be done thru a wire transfer from my financial institution. Though a credit was issued immediately from Montway, my bank took much longer to credit the money back to me which caused a delay of 3 days for my car to be scheduled for pick-up. My only change I would ask of Montway is to set up your website to either automatically decline purchases of that certain amount or higher and tell the purchaser that they must do a wire transfer instead or post that information on your site so that customers know how to pay in a timely manner. I was told the car would take 10 days to arrive and it arrived in 6 which is great, but I received the call from the driver while I was at work to say he would be there that day. I had asked for a 24 hour notice so I could plan ahead, but it worked out just fine. The driver of the truck, Teddy, was awesome, professional and really took pride in his work. My 86 Grand Prix was wrapped in plastic which was nice and was treated just as well as the other much newer cars on the transport...Bentley, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and a Corvette. I would highly recommend Montway to anyone looking for a great transport company and hopefully you will get Teddy! Thank you Montway for making my overall experience excellent!
