Montway Auto Transport hired Jones Transportation to do the actual haul. I am very pleased with the driver because he had to negotiate a narrow winding road to pick up the car. At delivery the brakes on the car (non-running) had locked up and unloading was extremely difficult. When I told the driver that Montway had billed me an additional $200 when I called to let them know the car was not running, he looked very surprised and said he usually only gets $50 extra for a non-running car. I feel that Montway should give the entire $200 to the driver for all the extra work and not just keep the extra money. It took much longer than the original 2 days to find a driver. I understand because the pick was from an out of the way location, but they should not say 2 days unless they can actually arrange that quickly.
