Extremely dishonest

I initially chose Montway because I was called by the manager and he told me at 2pm the car could be picked up within 2-4 hours. The car was not picked up until 1am from Anthony at l&s companies. Anthony was very nice and answered phone calls and texts but was very late and did not know where to unload car and was asking me if he would get a ticket and asking me how to get around Hoboken. We all have smart phones and I did pay $900 so this work should have been thought of and done already not at midnight. Montway could have been resourceful and provided Anthony with this info but they did not. Instead at midnight I was getting calls asking for me to meet him in weehawken when the pick up was Hoboken. I was told Friday delivery which was a mother reason why I chose Montway because the other companies had told me Monday and I did have to start a new sales job Monday which would require me to have my company car. Again a reason why I chose to pay $900 over the $700 quotes I had received. I did not get a phone call Friday so I texted Anthony and he then informed me car would most likely get delivered Sunday. Sunday came and I did not hear from anyone and when I texted Anthony he informed me he no longer had my car and to contact L&S. When I contacted l&s they now told me my car was getting delivered Monday. So Monday came and no word so I called and they said Tuesday delivery so my new manager had to pick me up for me to get a rental. Then Tuesday between 7-9 am was my window and 9:15 comes and no word. I call the company and they say driver is running 1/2 hour behind. 10:00am comes and again no word and I call and they can't get a hold of driver. I start heading to work because I can't keep my new manager waiting all day. Then driver calls me as I'm heading to work to get car so I have to turn around. I got my car but they were very dishonest. I would have rather them been honest with me about delivery date so I could get a rental and prepare myself for my new jOb. And given me an honest time window for delivery.

Montway makes our customer aware in advance of our door to door policy. This information is provided on our website as well at the time of booking and any communications thereafter. Carriers will pick up and delivery as close to the customer door as legally and safely as possible. Most carriers are operating with 18 wheeler 2 level trailers with 7 to 10 cars on them and the customer location may not be accessible to such auto haulers. There may be restrictions on the customer residence: too narrow roads, one way street, speedy bumps, weight restrictions, low hanging tress, bridge tolls, etc. that can prevent door to door service. For such cases the carrier will request the customer to meet at an accessible location. Please note all service dates are estimated, this is auto shipping standards and Montway does not have control over these factors. We try our best to be as accurate with our estimated service dates as possible providing customers with updates throughout the process via email and phone. Montway values the feedback of our customers we try to make sure each customer has an enjoyable experience. We did reach out to the customer to offer to make things right in hopes of settling the issue directly and addressing all of her concerns however the customer has not allowed us the chance to do so.
