Exceeded Expectations

I booked through Montway after a lot of research about the industry. There are defiantly horror stories out there, and perhaps after reading so many bad reviews about the industry my standards were low. I do think though that is all about having the right expectation set from the beginning, and I feel like Montway did a good job of setting the expectation. I booked my load on 6/1, with the vehicle being ready for pick-up 6/4. Montway communicated on 6/3 they had a driver and my car would be picked up on or around 6/5 and delivered on or around 6/8. I think that's where this industry gets a bad name...
The driver called on 6/3 to let me know he would be at the dealership on 6/5 to pick up the vehicle within a 2 hour window. He arrived on 6/5 to pick-up the car just as he said he would. The driver then called again on 6/6 to let me know he would be arriving ahead of schedule on 6/7. He called again on 6/7 (a day ahead of the anticipated arrival!) to let me know he was at our pre-determined meeting spot. The car was not spotless, though I would not expect any car to be after a 1200 mile drive. We walked around the vehicle together, to inspect for damage (none found) and he backed it off the trailer. I gave him the cash amount that was discussed at the time of booking and then drove off in my new (used) car. There was never any mention of extra money being due, which was another concern of mine after reading the reviews.
The cost of this Palm Beach, FL to St. Louis, MO area delivery was $800, with $550 due to the driver upon delivery.
Perhaps my expectation was way low from the beginning, but the transaction went well for me, and I would use Montway again. I spoke with Austin at Montway twice, he was very professional and answered all of my questions, of which I had a lot, because I've never shipped a car
