Pickup late; car arrived without issue

It took longer than I would have liked for my vehicle to be scheduled for pickup. However, this may have been partially my fault since we only placed the order 4 days before the earliest pickup date. Our earliest pickup date was a Tuesday, and we had to leave for Colorado by Saturday to get there before our moving truck. Pickup was not scheduled until the following Monday, so we had to leave my car with a relative. The relative was not able to be home for the scheduled pickup time, so my brother had to take the car instead. Once pickup was scheduled, the process was pretty smooth. The car arrived quickly in Colorado in its original condition. The truck drivers communicated very well regarding when I could expect the vehicle to arrive. Unfortunately, the time kept changing, which made it difficult for us to make sure we were available for delivery. All in all, things could have been a little smoother, and the scheduling of pickup and delivery times was somewhat inconvenient, but my car arrived in good condition in a relatively short amount of time.

We are surprised and sorry to see that the customer is unhappy with the service she received. Our terms are publicly published on our website, disclosed prior and during booking, written in the customer agreement and within all communications thereafter. We do not provide a 5 day window. We estimate assigning a carrier within 1 to 5 business days. Even though our estimations are highly accurate, just over 95%, we still inform customers we can only provide estimated dates. We want our customers to be clear on these terms so they can make any necessary personal arrangements. Our goal is to transport your vehicle, never to inconvenience our customers in any way. We estimate the dates for multiple reasons, reasons which impacts the entire transport industry. Traffic delays, detours, speed limits, weather delays, mandatory rest stops, pickup/delivery client availability delays, weight station check ups, police inspections, truck breakdowns, driver's health issues, are just some of the issues that can not be anticipated. We understand this is potentially inconvenient for customers, so we combat that with information and keeping customers informed. Customer's vehicle was available on 7/22; it was picked up with the the estimate on 7/28 and delivered just as quickly on 7/30/14. Vehicle was delivered safely and in the same condition it was picked up. Customer was kept informed through out the process at all times. Montway is 100% dedicated to the customer and our service and care is unmatched!
