Montway Auto Transport

First of all, I would have written the following review even if I was not being compensated:
I had no previous knowledge about car transports when I set out to send our car to a relative in Chicago. Using Google, I discovered this website and investigated several 5-star transport websites for quotes. What I liked about Montway was that I could get an accurate quote online without giving them any of my personal information. I also chatted online with their representative several times before booking, and each of my questions and concerns were received and answered patiently and professionally.
In reading other reviews, I learned that it was best to request a Montway transport truck. Montway is a carrier and a broker, so if you don't request Montway specifically, then you may be assigned another carrier, and you won't know that until the assignment is made. Some problems were reported by reviewers using some of the other car carriers that were sent to them, and I didn't want to take that chance.
The other thing I learned was that pick-up and delivery dates are estimated. If you are not flexible, then this process will not work for you. I don't know about the other companies, but Montway does make it clear that the dates are estimated. Fortunately, I was able to be flexible, as well as the receiving party, and it all worked out perfectly for us.
As I requested, the driver contacted me, and the receiving party, for the pick-up and delivery. He was very professional and courteous; however, his English skills were not very good. It was difficult to speak with him, but because we were all patient with each other, we were able to communicate fairly well in the end.
Montway's quote was exact for us, and they came in less than the other carriers I investigated.
With the knowledge I now possess for the process of car transporting, I would use Montway again, and recommend them to my family and friends.
