IF I COULD HELP ANYONE OUT.....DON'T DEAL YOUR SHIPMENTS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! DO YOU WANT THIS TYPE OF COMPANY WORKING FOR YOU??? READ THE EMAIL CHAIN AFTER MY CAPS. THIS WAS AN ACTUAL CONVERSATION WITH MONTWAY. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE!! RUN!**Chris (Customer)** - Please cancel this order. You guys are underbidding my car and it's causing the driver's to not pick it up and being delayed shipment. I will be filing with my Paypal account to remove the $150 deposit. **Dimitre (Montway)** - Hi, there's no need to dispute the charges (that you made yourself), if you wish to cancel, we'll refund your deposit. Could you please, explain, though, what exactly do you mean by "underbidding"?How it is our fault, if you double-booked your shipment? You vehicle has been only available for a couple of days and sometime it takes several days to arrange the transport. Please, let us know. **Chris (Customer)** Please cancel. I disputed to ensure my money is returned without incident. I didn't double book. I just put another bid out there today because your bid wasn't going to be picked up by anyone in the time frame I want because it was the lowest bid available because you are keeping 150 and offering 480 for the driver. I need the car soon due to a vacation and I don't have the time to wait until Friday or the weekend or later to be picked up. I also didn't want you to come back and say you needed more money cause it wasn't picked up yet. Thanks for your time. **Dimitre (Montway)** You never told us that you have any specific time frame. We try to ship vehicles ASAP, but our prices are meant with flexibility on dates in mind.In addition, I don't understand your logic: You don't want us to eventually charge you more, so you went on to pay more to someone else right away, to provide the same service?In any case, whatever you did, is actually working against you, because you're paying more, plus since you're disputing the charge, we can't refund your money right away, until the dispute is resolved.Good luck with your shipment. **Chris (Customer)** I called twice to tell your reps that I needed it sooner and I got we're working on it. I paid the exact same amount for the car. The other company isn't taking as much cut as you. Same price! You resolve the dispute the money is returned. I'm not worried about that. Sorry if this caused difficulties for you. **Dimitre (Montway)** OK, your order was canceled, however I don't have access to that part of PayPal, so I can't resolve the dispute. **Chris (Customer)** Thank you. Please forward the dispute on to the person that does. **Mike (Montway)** Hello Chris, Here is what the other company is doing ... See attached file ...They "sit" on your job for more money and doing nothing ... We get "smart" customers like you one per week and every one of them is screwing himself by thinking they're "smart". I hope you don't get disappointed by this company you hired, but I know you will, so start praying :)It's always funny to me to see this "drama" :) Good luck. **Chris (Customer)** What would you guys have done differently to get it shipped? **Chris (Customer)** Any word on the refund? **Mike (Montway) ** Chris, If you cancel your dispute I can refund the money immediately and you'll get them immediately! If you'd like to stick with the dispute it will take about 20 business days before this is resolved. PS: How are things going with the shipping? I still see Open Road Shipping sitting on your job without doing anything :) **Chris (Customer) **You know I can’t close the dispute because that would take away my rights to the money. It doesn’t take 20 days. I will have to escalate it to a claim on 5/5 through Paypal then. **Mike (Montway)** Chris, Do you think that we will scam you on $150 ? We're one of the largest and most reputable companies in this industry !!! If you have time to waste with disputes and escalations do so ..., but again you can get your money today the minute you drop the dispute, so I can refund you. ****BELOW IS THE EMAILS AFTER THEY (MONTWAY!!!!!!) ESCALATED THE PAYPAL DISPUTE AND SAID I SCAMMED THEM AND THEY WANT $150 FOR DOING NOTHING!!!****. **Chris (Customer) **What a terrible thing to do to say I scammed you! You provided no service to me at all and you think you deserve $150 for doing nothing? I gave you notice of the cancellation by email, then called the other shipper. You’re a horrible company. **Mike (Montway)** We're not horrible company and I think I've tried several times to tell you to put just a little trust in us and you refused. Well when you do so, I'll respond the same way. You're getting the response you asked for. PS: You did contact another service provider before you contacted us requesting cancelation !!! Don't twist the truth. **Chris (Customer)** I did not and I have the emails to prove it from when I asked to cancel and when the new shipper signed me up. I never treated you with disrespect. The only time it was double booked was because you didn’t take it off the board before the other company posted their offer. I filed the claim to get my money back. Your own policy states that the deposit is refunded in full as long as a shipper has not been found and somehow you think you deserve $150? The money was a deposit for service in which you never provided. How could I possibly put trust in you guys when I get the emails I have from you? So now because you think I didn’t put trust in you, you have some right to my money? I will certainly be adding some comments to the BBB website and uShip about your customer service and childish antics. **Mike (Montway)** You're still not getting it, are you..? When did I say that we have rights about your money? Never!Did I ask you to drop the dispute? Yes I did You don't believe what I say to you, but I'll say it anyway ...BBB: Waste of time ... You file a complain with them, they send an email to me, I'll respond to the email, you'll say that you're not satisfied and the complaint will be closed and you'll get one big NOTHING !Uship: You can't rate us there, because you didn't book it through Uship Try to believe me for a second a drop the dispute and you'll see how easy will be to deal with us ... You started the difficult way and the only thing you'll get is a difficult response. PS: I see your car is still in Texas :)) How satisfied are you with the other guy :) ? **Chris (Customer)** You claim to be scammed by me and want my money through your PayPal dispute, THAT’S when you said you wanted my money. Do YOU “get it” now!? You don’t have to be difficult with the dispute. You can simply agree to refund my money through PayPal and we would be done. You’re choosing to be difficult because somehow I offended you? Why would I not protect my money by filing a dispute? It’s no sweat off you guys to solve the issue, you’re just choosing the hard way. I’m sure you think it’s funny and are having a great time with all this. That’s cool no problem! I like you Mike, you have some flawed logic but it’s real fun dealing with you! You wouldn’t have been able to get my car here either cause your price was the lowest on the board. When I asked you what your company would have done differently to get my car here, I got………silence! There wasn’t anything you could have done except ask me to pay more money. I could care less how useless you think it is for me to post on those sites.
