Ms. Robyn Roberts from Monarch Car Shipping took it upon herself to wrongfully charge me for a $50 admin fee. Ms. Roberts became instantly frustrated when I informed her I would no longer need her services and to please cancel any outstanding bids. According to the Monarch Car Shipping terms and conditions agreement, cancellation is free of charge prior to carrier dispatch. At the time of my cancellation via e-mail and text, I did not receive any kind of dispatch notification or confirmation. A few days after the cancellation, Ms. Roberts chose to charge my card for a $50 admin fee. I contacted Ms. Roberts and requested the charge be reversed but as you can guess, my request was rudely denied. I asked for proof dispatch and the only evidence she was able to provide was a picture taken from her phone of a fabricated dispatch sheet on her computer monitor. This dispatch sheet did not have a timestamp and appeared to have been created on the fly.

Additionally, the proof of dispatch Ms. Roberts provided was through an independent shipping service. Coincidentally, this turned out to be the SAME shipping service that actually delivered my vehicle. This shipping service never accepted a dispatch from Monarch Car Shipping nor did they receive an offer to begin with. It doesn't take a genius to put the facts together and realize Ms. Roberts never dispatched this carrier.

To top it off, I originally contacted Monarch Car Shipping to have my vehicle shipped at the price of $700. However, after a few days of no contact, Ms. Roberts informed me that she had to increase the price to $750. Finally, on the day of my cancellation, Ms. Roberts tried to push my bid to $800. The dispatch sheet that was provided showed the actual carrier would only receive $550. That's a $250 profit to Monarch Car Shipping just for posting an ad and talking to a few carriers.
Lesson of the day.... Contact carriers on your own and avoid wasting money for a middleman.

I also found it hilarious that she assumed I owned a nail salon and that I was a guest to the US. Apparently having some kind of foreign, Asian name implies I do nails for a living. =)

Professional quotes from Ms. Roberts' e-mails:

"I will also be glad to reciprocate about how you do business for your salon on BBB too, it's no problem."

"Your not entitled to give me an education on business in the US where I presume you are a guest."

This "gentleman" hired me, then decided to switch brokers after I did the work. I guess he works for free I do not. He's a time waster don't waste your on him. He didn't have time to respond to my phone calls over the weekend but I'm glad he had the time to manufacture all this long story of fake news. A real looser
