I recently moved from Brockton, MA to Lansing, MI about two weeks ago. I had scheduled my car to be shipped and arrive the day I was arriving to Lansing, MI. However, my driver called to cancel the day of pick up/shipment. When I called the broker who had arranged this driver to inform him of what was going on - I find out they do not work on WEEKENDS!!! I needed to find a new carrrier quickly, but was running into dead ends. Many shipping companies were asking top dollar for so called "express deliveries" but they could not guarantee the actual day of pick up of my car. Then I found Milky Way, they were upfront and matter of fact about my current situation. They weren't quoting me crazy money and they were realistic about the length of time it might take to get/find a driver heading to my area. I wasn't happy at first with how long the process was taking, but Mike explained to me that "it will get done". At one point, I offered to pay more for a quicker delivery, but Mike informed me that the amount I was quoted is fine - anything higher would just be "throwing money away". I didn't care to hear that at first, since at this point I just wanted to have my car. Moving to a new area with two kids under two and without a car - is no fun. However, through constant communication between HC, Mike and myself over the weekend and during plane flight (well before actual take off and after landing) they were able to get me a driver and have my car back to me in no time. I was very happy with their service and honesty. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
