I am having my first experience with shipping a car. Up until I spoke with Jim, I found it to be an arduous and frustrating ordeal. The first company I worked with did not even bother to return my call when my shipping date was approaching. The next company did not bother to call me and let me know that they had (finally) found a shipper although I had previously called a few times to check the status. Time was of the essence but they gave me no information and left me in limbo for days after my pick-up date came and went. Subsequently, Jim - doing his due diligence and follow-up on earlier quotes - called to see if I still needed assistance. Of course I did! He gave me critical support and walked me through the process, and urged me to continue to reach out to my broker. I WISH I had contacted him initially. He took the time to explain the situation (and potential delays) with me even though I was not his client. He did something that seems to be exceptional in the industry - he followed up and remained in touch - something the company I was working with failed to do!!! I understand that there may be many variables involved in shipping a car but, at the very least, a broker can keep you informed - even (or especially) after you have contracted with them. So, if you value excellent customer service and honesty - do not hesitate to give Jim a call. I know I certainly will the next time.
