Contract Cancellation Without Cause

Mercury Auto Transport repeatedly confirmed that a driver would be assigned and instructed me multiple times to “wait one more day,” assuring me that the pickup window and price were protected. Their “Priority Service” explicitly states that they coordinate all details and secure a carrier before the guaranteed period ends. Despite their written confirmation, commitments, and representations, the company abruptly canceled my order without warning on December 2, 2025. This cancellation occurred after more than 72 hours of delays, during which I followed their instructions and waited for carrier assignment. The cancellation wasted significant time, disrupted my business logistics, and caused me financial harm because the vehicles are located on tribal land with limited access and no flexibility. Mercury Auto Transport did not make any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, they canceled the order and provided no alternative solution, no compensation, and no explanation. I contacted them immediately after the cancellation, but the company has not offered corrective action. Their marketing and written booking materials promise transparency, reliability, guaranteed pricing, and proactive communication. My experience was the opposite—delays, contradictory updates, and then a sudden cancellation without cause.
