Moving a car from NY to San Francisco. Did the normal "request a quote" from a few companies. Everyone has similar business model, email quote and a bunch of calls from a call center. Compared pricing and contacted one firm. Explained my situation (I was in no rush to receive vehicle but needed to get lowest possible pricing) Car was for daughter. Basic response was, the quote was a ballpark number and here is the price. When I said I'll wait for better pricing, he said its just going to keep going up. I was about to give up for a while, but received email from Pete Reynolds from Mercury, outlining the model. I decided to call him, he clearly understood what I needed and formed a plan. Saying it may take a while to get the car moved. I literally heard from him the next day that he had a trucker ready to pick up in 3 days at the price we discussed. This was $200-400 cheaper than other quotes. Peter takes pride in providing top notch service. I would trust him to help you out.
