I did a lot of research before picking Trevor Thomas and Mercury Auto Transport. Trevor has posted helpful articles explaining how the auto transport industry works, which explain that companies like Mercury are brokers, not actual carriers. The brokers post the transport jobs on a national on-line board and the carriers select the jobs they want. The broker needs to post a price that is high enough for the carrier to accept and low enough to keep the customer happy. If they post a price too low, carriers are less likely to take the job. Trevor estimated a price that was higher than other estimates and lower than others. The price turned out to be just right because a carrier picked up the job within 3 days of my first available date and the car was delivered in less than 24 hours. I recommend Trevor.
