Left with no transport

This process is lousy at best. As I had to ship car from Connecticut to Florida, I contacted this company at least 4 weeks before the date I had to have it shipped. Communication was decent and they assured me this route runs several times per week and there should be no issues. I told them I was flexible on pick-up date but had to have it picked up by a certain day as I was leaving for Florida as well. Constant communication, no worries, all is good, should hear soon.....all sounded great.....only one problem. Pick-up day came and went with no person assigned to get our car. So here I was left to scramble. I rented a U-Haul trailer and drove it myself. Saved money in long run, but was not fun. This process must change. Do your homework and don't let it fall on them to post on a national or regional board or you will be left scrambling like me. Never again.

Hi Marc, I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience with Mercury Auto Transport. We try our best to get your vehicle picked up on your desired date, but unfortunately we can't guarantee pick up or delivery dates due to the unpredictable nature of auto transport which can cause delays. We do try our best to get every customers vehicle shipped in a timely manner and most of the time it works in our favor, but this time is did not and we are sorry for that.
