I have only shipped one vehicle prior to this and that was over ten years ago. I did some quick online research and instead of going to one of the lead generation websites I decided to contact companies directly so I wouldn't get to many call's. I submitted my request to 4 separate companies and after getting quote's did a deeper research of the two potential companies that I would choose from. This is not as easy as it sounds but I was able to find the information and reviews I was looking for and chose to go with Mercury Auto Transport which was in the middle lower end of my quote's. I found what appears to be a common thread shared by most carriers of I love them or hate them reviews and with some reservation signed up with Mercury. (They did not charge me an upfront non refundable deposit) I had previously lost $100 charged by a different carrier when I had to cancel which made me a bit Leary and I appreciate that Mercury did not require a deposit until a truck is committed to pick up my vehicle. I am very pleased with the outcome, my vehicle was safely transported from the California Auto Museum in Sacramento CA. to the small town where I live in Southern New Mexico. My communication from Mercury was excellent with daily status update's from Kandi, my Mercury representative and continued up till the vehicle was picked up and again after delivery. The driver assigned to my move was also good at letting me know that I was loaded and when he would expect to arrive for delivery and then again with a more exact time. The driver arrived at the time stated and was very professional as well as friendly. We talked about if there were any issues as he unloaded the vehicle and after unloading did a complete walk around the vehicle to insure there were no issues. I would highly recommend Mercury Auto Transport and I would use them again. The cost was reasonable and the wait time for pick up was as well. Great job!
